A man is dead and two others are critical after what police are calling a deadly shootout unfolded in the city's West Kensington section.

WEST KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have identified a suspect in a shooting earlier this month in West Kensington that left men dead and a teenager critically injured.

That suspect, 19-year-old Ativa Jackson, resides in the same block where the shooting occurred, the 100 block of West Wishart Street.

Officers were called to the scene around 5:48 p.m. on Sunday, January 3rd.

There they found three victims.

47-year-old Richard DaVilla and 21-year-old Raul Rodriguez were both found on the street suffering gunshot wounds. They were taken to Temple University hospital where both were pronounced dead.

A 17-year-old boy was found in a nearby home with a gunshot wound to the face. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Jackson is considered to be armed and dangerous.
