Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets
2300 year old mummy is the star attraction of an exhibit at the Franklin Institute

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- We've seen them in horror movies, and even adventure flicks featuring Indiana Jones, but the real thing has arrived in Philadelphia.

An authentic human mummy is on loan to the Franklin Institute.

Action news got a sneak peek Tuesday at the 23 hundred year old mummy, whose nick-name is Annie, short for anonymous.

She is the featured attraction of a new exhibit called "Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, an interactive journey, that unearths the fascinating mysteries of an ancient civilization.

It opens to the public this weekend.
