A tradition of literature and music

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Free Library of Philadelphia kicked off its fourteenth season of One Book One in Center City.

This year's selection is "Cold Mountain" by Charles Frazier, which is about the Civil War.

Frazier and the composer of the opera "Cold Mountain" were there to discuss the combination of literature and music.

Tuesday night's event kicks off more than one-hundred book programs that take place now through March 30th
