Police van carrying two shooting victims crashes in Grays Ferry.

GRAYS FERRY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police officers taking shooting victims to the hospital were involved in a crash in Grays Ferry.

The shooting happened near Grays Ferry Avenue and Washington Street shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Two people suffered injuries.

While on the way to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, the police van was involved in a crash.

A police van crashed in Grays Ferry.

The van reportedly flipped over.

A nearby officer managed to take the two shooting victims from the accident scene to the hospital.

The officers involved in the crash are said to be OK.

The Action Cam on the scene showed damage to both the van and another vehicle.
