Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm blaze that damaged two houses in Camden, New Jersey.

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Firefighters are battling a 2-alarm blaze that damaged two houses in Camden, New Jersey.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of Lansdowne Avenue.

The blaze was located in the rear of one house and then spread to the second house.

One house was occupied and the other was vacant.

Everyone made it out safely, and the Red Cross is helping a Father, mother and their two young daughters.

They provided blankets, hygiene kits, and emergency assistance, which included temporary lodging.

So far, there are no reports of injuries or word on a cause.
