A long awaited ribbon cutting
A bridge closed for more than two and a half years, has been reopened to commuters

HAMILTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A bridge that has been closed for more than two and a half years, has been reopened to commuters in Mercer County.

A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday afternoon to mark the opening of the new Nottingham Way Bridge over the Assunpink Creek.

Mercer County officials gathered to celebrate the completion of the nearly three million dollar project.

The new span replaces the original, 94 year old bridge that had shown signs of deterioration.
