Flyers alumni reach out to fan youth

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Dozens of members of the Ed Snider Youth Foundation accepted a two million dollar check from The Flyers Alumni Association Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

The money will go toward a brand new rink.

The rink will be named for Snider, who is the chairman of Comcast Spectacor, and the founder of the Philadelphia Flyers.
