Carbon monoxide fumes sickened five people in Philadelphia's Crescentville section. (WPVI)

Carbon monoxide fumes have sickened five people in Philadelphia's Crescentville section.

Fire crews were called to the 5200 block of Tabor Road at 11 p.m. Sunday.

They found elevated CO readings inside the house.

Five people were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

There was no immediate word on their conditions.
