SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney spent lunch time at a roundtable with some of his youngest constituents.
He met with children at Kai's Comfy Corner, a pre-kindergarten program in South Philadelphia.
Sure the kiddos can't vote, but they are a central part of Mayor Kenney's education goals.
He wants citywide free pre-K by the end of his first term.
Kai's Corner is a Pre-K Counts facility funded by state grants.
