Fire breaks out in attic of Del. home

A fire broke out in the attic of a home in Yorklyn, Delaware.

YORKLYN, Del. (WPVI) -- A fire broke out in the attic of a home in Yorklyn, Delaware.

It was reported at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Yorklyn Road.

Upon arrival, officials say smoke was showing from the home, and reported it as a working fire in the attic.

The fire was brought under control at 1:44 p.m., officials say.

Residents were able to get out of the house, including one person in a wheelchair.

No injuries were reported.
