Flames damage New Castle Co. home

TALLEYVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house in Talleyville, Delaware early Thursday morning.

The fire started in the basement around 3:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Granite Road.

The blaze quickly spread to the upper floors.

Heavy smoke was seen throughout the single family home.

Everyone was able to get out without any injuries.

So far, no word on what caused the blaze.
