2 women hurt in crash on Garden State Parkway in Ocean Co.

STAFFORD TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A crash on the Garden State Parkway in Stafford Township, Ocean County sent two women to the hospital.

It happened at 7:30 a.m. Thursday north of route 72 in the northbound lanes of the parkway.

Both cars landed some trees next to the highway.

One car flipped onto its roof.

Both women were taken to a hospital in Atlantic City by helicopter with serious injuries.
