The end of a very large era

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The farewell tour continues for the biggest stars of the circus.

Meet Karen, KellyAnn, Bonnie and Nicole. The elephants were treated to a special brunch Philly style Thursday.

The menu included 600 pretzels, 2 crates of apples and 50 pounds of carrots.

The mammals are being retired from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.

The brunch is a send-off celebration before they move to their permanent home to a conservation park in Florida.

Fans were able to get up and close and personal to say goodbye.

The circus is running at the Wells Fargo Center through February 21st.
