A wellness doctor is weighing in on the presidential campaign, not on the political views of the candidates, but on how they stay healthy and how you can have their energy, too.

As we know, it's not an easy road for any of the candidates. They're constantly traveling and in high-stress situations.

Dr. Michael Royzen says there are lessons we can all learn from them about staying healthy and energetic on a hectic schedule.

He says the key is managing stress. You can do that through meditation or regular exercise.

Also, keep in touch with close friends. Try to get at least seven-and-a-half hours of sleep. And he says avoid the "five food felons."

"Simple sugars, added syrups, stripped carbohydrates, trans fats and food with saturated fat," said Dr. Royzen.

He also says if you have a job that requires a lot of travel, try to work in exercise on the road because even a little can go a long way.
