The House has rejected President Obama's proposal for $1.8 billion to fight the Zika virus.

The lawmakers want the CDC to use money left over from the Ebola fund. Federal health officials say that's against budget rules and they still need the Ebola money for Ebola.

CDC officials say they'll continue their work to protect Americans while the funding is worked out.
