Gift of pet hamster highlights sibling love in Cape May

CAPE MAY, N.J. (WPVI) -- With siblings sometimes there's rivalry, nagging or fighting.

But in Cape May, New Jersey, there's the ultimate show of love from a little sister to her big brother.

Two weeks ago, 6-year-old Abigail Stout got a hamster for her 6th birthday.

Her big brother Daniel became so determined to get one of his own that he went above and beyond his regular household chores to prove to his parents that he too deserved one including scrubbing the bathroom floor and cleaning out the garage.

Abigail says she saw how hard he was working so she used her $55 in birthday money to buy her brother his own hamster.

The moment he finds out is sweeping the Internet.

When she asks why is he crying, their mother replies he's happy crying.
