Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park reopens after flooding

Video from Chopper 6 HD recorded at 8 a.m. Thursday showed both northbound lanes of the drive completely covered with water approaching Wissahickon Drive.

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- The northbound side of Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park section has reopened after it was shut down Thursday morning due to flooding.

Video from Chopper 6 HD recorded at 8 a.m. Thursday showed both northbound lanes of the drive completely covered with water approaching Wissahickon Drive.

Streets department crews were on the scene and worked to open clogged drains in the area.

All northbound vehicles were being detoured off at Gypsy Lane.
