Man shot, wounded in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in North Philadelphia.

It happened at 11:30 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of North 7th and Clearfield streets.

Officers arrived to find man who had been shot in the leg.

Police took the man to an area hospital.

There was no immediate word on his condition.

An investigation is underway.
