Child found alone in deplorable conditions inside Radnor apartment

RADNOR, Pa. (WPVI) -- Two people were arrested after Radnor police say a 3-year-old child was left alone in deplorable conditions.

The child was found Monday morning after his father, Stanley Hampton, was pulled over in Tredyffrin Township.

The child was alone at the Regency Apartments off Creek Drive in Radnor.

Police say the home was covered in trash and the burners on the stove were turned up full to heat the apartment.

The child is now in the custody of other family members.

The child's mother, Brittany Melissa McFadden, was also arrested.

Both parents have been charged with recklessly endangering the welfare of a child.
