2 sought in Powelton double shooting

POWELTON (WPVI) -- Two men are wanted in connection with a double shooting in the city's Powelton section.

Police and medics were called Wednesday to the 4000 block of Green Street for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, two victims were located.

One victim, described as a 25-year-old man, was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center suffering from gunshot wounds to his head and forearm. He is listed in critical condition.

A second victim, believed to be a 16-year-old boy, was also taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for gunshot wounds to his thigh and ankle. He was deemed a trauma alert while in transit.

Police are looking for two men who fled in a gold vehicle northbound on Preston Street from Green Street.

So far, no arrests or motive.
