Philadelphia bike cop struck by car in Juniata

JUNIATA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after a bike patrol officer was struck by a car in the city's Juniata section.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday along the 3900 block of Whitaker Avenue.

The officer was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be OK.
