One of Philadelphia's top chefs took a staple of our city to the next level Monday, all for a good cause.

Jose Garces was cooking up cheesesteaks at Pat's in South Philadelphia.

But his version is a little different than the King of Steaks usual fare.

The Garces cheesesteak had provolone fondue, ToJo wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, and black truffles.

The event was part of Pat's Guest Chef series.

The money raised goes to the Garces Foundation, which helps members of Philadelphia's immigrant community.
