VIDEO: 'BMI report cards' don't spark change
The Body Mass Index report cards used at some schools to reduce childhood obesity may not be having much of an impact.

The Body Mass Index, or BMI, report cards used at some schools to reduce childhood obesity may not be having much of an impact.

Researchers followed more than 400,000 girls who received the report cards.

They found even those labeled as "overweight" did not make changes from year to year.

The authors say without more interventions, the reports don't do much to help.
