Philadelphia Science Festival events announced

PENN'S LANDING (WPVI) -- There was explosive excitement Wednesday on Penn's Landing where officials announced this year's Philadelphia Science Festival.

There are dozens of events planned from April 22nd through April 30th, including a science carnival on Penn's Landing.

The Franklin Institute organizes the festival with the help of several other local companies.

This will be the 6th year for the event.
