Modells opens, where City Sports left

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A new sporting goods store has opened its doors in Center City.

Modell's opened its newest location Thursday morning, here on the 16 hundred block of Walnut Street.

This is where City Sports used to be located.

Tomorrow, 10 percent of total sales will be donated to the Fairmount Park Conservancy, to help the Belmont Plateau Renovation project.
