FBI releases surveillance photos of serial bank robber in Center City

The FBI has released surveillance photos in an effort to capture a serial bank robber.

Officials say the man is wanted in at least three bank robberies dating back to last summer in Center City.

The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, 5 feet 8-9 inches, with a medium build.

Officials say he usually wears baseball caps, hooded sweatshirts, sunglasses, basketball shorts and carries a bookbag.

The incidents are as follows:

Aug. 27, 2015: Beneficial Bank, 1600 Chestnut St.
Oct. 7, 2015: Republic Bank, 1601 Walnut St.
March 18, 2016: Firstrust Bank, 1515 Market St.
