Kensington beauty salon fire labeled 'suspicious'

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- An overnight fire at a beauty salon injured one person living above the business.

The fire broke out along the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

Firefighters had to help several tenants out of the apartments on the upper floors.

One man is being treated at Temple University Hospital for smoke inhalation, and is listed in stable condition.

Firefighters are investigating this as a suspicious fire.
