VIDEO: Spring snow in South Jersey
Action News reporter Annie McCormick reports from South Jersey, showing us the commute many drivers weren't too happy about.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. -- It was far from a major storm, but there was still a coating of snow in parts of New Jersey on Monday morning.

Action News was near the Atlantic City Expressway in Hamilton Township, where there was about an inch of snow on the ground.

However, that was on grassy surfaces. Roads were only wet.

Heavy, wet snow that was falling overnight was beginning to taper ahead of the morning commute.

People we talked to said while it may say spring on the calendar, they're ready for spring-like weather to return.

"I'm ready for spring!" said Thelma Finneman of Egg Harbor City. "Give me spring already!"

Temperature were at least above freezing even before dawn.
