HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- The brother of a victim in a fatal Delaware hit-and-run wants to make sure no one forgets about his case.

Fred McCarthy is asking anyone with information to come forward.

His brother Jeremiah was hit and killed at the end of February as he tried to walk across Lancaster Pike in Hockessin.

Police have released a blurry surveillance image of a dark gray SUV, which they believe was involved.

Fred has a message to the person responsible.

"What you've done is wrong. I'd like you to understand, I'm willing to forgive you. My family is willing to forgive you," McCarthy said.

Fred is also circulating this image on Facebook urging the driver to do the right thing, and turn themselves in.
