A Philadelphia man was one of the dozens of people arrested in sweeps of alleged drug dealers in central and western Pennsylvania in the past month.

Bryheem Baldwin, 29, of the 3200 block of North 13th Street, was arrested during an operation targeting street-to-mid-level drug dealers distributing heroin, cocaine, bath salts and prescription narcotics in Blair County.

It was a yearlong operation that culminated in 26 arrests in late February, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office said.

The office teamed with local police to make controlled drug buys in the Altoona area.

On Wednesday, March 23rd, the Pa. Attorney General's Office said there were 27 arrests in Clearfield County, targeting street dealers to mid-level dealers of methamphetamine.

The investigation included controlled purchases by undercover officers and agents. The AG's office said agents purchased and seized more than $90,000 worth of meth, in addition to one and a half ounces of heroin valued at $8,400.

Nearly $28,000 in cash, seven weapons and vehicle were also recovered.
