Service of shadows in Haddonfield

HADDONFIELD, N.J. (WPVI) -- Holy Week continued today with Good Friday services.

Friday night the Lutheran Church of our Saviour in Haddonfield, marked the "service of the shadows".

Participants ponder the depth of Christ's suffering on the cross, and the nature of his sacrifice.

The solemn reflection leads into the joyousness of Easter.

"Service of the shadows" by the way, has been practiced since medieval times.
