Six people were injured in a crash in Newport, Delaware.

NEWPORT, Del. (WPVI) -- A 2-vehicle collision has left six people injured in Newport, Delaware.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East Market and Marshall streets.

The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to roll over.

The victims included males and females between the ages of 18-23-years-of-age.

Four of the victims were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment. Police say two other victims were treated at the scene.

One male is in serious condition, the other victims are stable.

No word on what caused the vehicles to collide.
