A man was killed in a vehicle crash in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania.

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A man in a pickup truck was killed in a crash in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania.

The deceased has been identified as 79-year-old Norman Wisser.

It happened around 12:35 p.m. Sunday on the 2700 block of Route 309 near Kernsville Road.

Police say the driver of a pickup truck somehow lost control, crashed into a car and telephone pole before crashing into a building.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:03 p.m.

Route 309 between Kernsville Road and Lime Kiln Road was closed for several hours. It has since reopened.
