Police: Robber holds up teen worker in Planet Fitness robbery

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for person who robbed a Planet Fitness gym.

At this time, police are not sure if the suspect is a man or woman.

The robbery happened on Thursday at the facility in the 6200 block of Ridge Avenue.

It was around 2:45 a.m. when, police say, the suspect walked inside with a handgun, went behind the counter, and said "You know what time it is."

The 19-year-old man who was working turned to see the robber, armed with a gun.

The worker handed over the money from the register, then the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

That worker was not hurt.
