GALLOWAY, N.J. (WPVI) -- It is Tibetan Culture week at Stockton University.
The school hosted an opening ceremony Monday morning in Atlantic County.
Buddhist monks will be working on an intricate "mandala" during the week, which is a circular design made entirely out of colored sand.
At the end of the week, they will destroy it.
That symbolizes the Buddhist belief that material life is transient, and impermanent.
