A Pre-K school finally opened its doors after it was delayed because of the state budget stalemate

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Pre-K school finally opened its doors in Philadelphia Tuesday after it was delayed because of the state budget stalemate.

Officials cut the ribbon on SPIN Parkwood Early Childhood Center in Northeast Philadelphia.

It's in the annex of Saint Anselm Church on Dunks Ferry Road.

The school was supposed to open seven months ago.

More than 60 families in the neighborhood have enrolled in the program.
