The ABCs of Financial Literacy

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- At Benjamin Franklin High School, officials launch a program Wednesday to help city residents manage their money.

Philadelphia School District Superintendent Dr. William Hite was on hand, along with representatives from Citizens bank, to announce the initiative.

Over the next month, 18 workshops will be held at city schools, focusing on financial literacy.

The workshops will cover topics such as checking accounts, obtaining credit, and consumer rights.
