Mayor Kenney tours recreation center

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A recreation center in Southwest Philadelphia got the mayor's seal of approval Wednesday.

Mayor Jim Kenney swung by the Vare Rec Center to see the indoor basketball court.

And the gymnastics room with Councilman Kenyatta Johnson.

It was a chance to see how young people exercise and spend their free time after school.

A nice looking facility here in Gray's Ferry.
