West Chester University officials are investigating two separate sexual assault incidents that occurred on and around campus.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- West Chester University officials are investigating two separate sexual assault incidents that occurred on and around campus.

The first incident was reported around 2:30 a.m. Friday on the second floor of the New Street Parking Garage.

Officials say a female student was raped by a male student, who remains at large.

The suspect is described as a black male, college age, tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and possibly a hat.

The second incident occurred around 4 a.m. Saturday in a residential facility on campus.

Officials say a female student was sleeping when a male acquaintance assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a tall male believed to be white. He is not a West Chester student, officials say.

Officials say the two incidents are not related.
