Roosevelt Boulevard reopens after crash, fuel spill

Parts of Roosevelt Boulevard was closed for several hours after a traffic accident in the city's Mayfair section.

The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. Monday in the inner northbound lanes of the Boulevard.

Officials say a sedan and a tractor trailer collided at Levick Street.

One person was injured in the collision. That person was transported to Aria Health's Torresdale campus with nonlife threatening injuries.

Both the inner and outer lanes at Bustleton Avenue and Harbison Avenue were closed for a time. But the scene has since been cleared and all lanes are now open.
