SPRINGFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- SEPTA police are looking for the man who punched an unsuspecting trolley driver on his way out the door in Springfield, Pennsylvania.

Officials released surveillance video Wednesday night of the incident.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. March 29 aboard the Route 101 near the Saxer Station.

Police say a passenger missed his stop and, when he realized his oversight, tried to get the operator to stop the trolley.

The operator informed the passenger he could not stop until the next scheduled destination, based on SEPTA protocol, police say.

At the next stop, police say the passenger assaulted the operator while exiting the trolley.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
