Man killed in point-blank shooting outside North Philadelphia bar

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was shot and killed outside a North Philadelphia bar.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside the Nivel Bar on the 200 block of East Allegheny Avenue.

Police say as the 26-year-old victim walked out of the bar, someone opened fire at point-blank range.

The man was shot in the chest and taken to Temple University Hospital where he died.

No arrests have been made.
