DA: 15 gang members arrested in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- District Attorney Seth Williams says officials have broken up a gang that has terrorized residents of North Philadelphia.

Fifteen alleged members of the gang are behind bars, police say.

They operated in the area around 10th and Thompson, police say, and were responsible for at least nine shootings during gun battles with rivals.

Police say the gang members are facing multiple charges including gun violations, aggravated assault and homicide.

-Hamin Williams, Sr. (DOB: 5/10/1978)

-Rashad Holcomb (DOB: 9/2/1988): Criminal Conspiracy, Murder, Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Carrying a Firearm in Philadelphia and Possession of an Instrument of Crime
