Highway reopens after crash downs power lines in Horsham

Police say a driver lost control and crashed into utility pole in Horsham, Pennsylvania. (WPVI)

A major Montgomery County thoroughfare is back open after an overnight crash that brought down power lines.

The crash occurred before 2 a.m. Friday on Blair Mill Road near Witmer Road in Horsham.

Police say a driver lost control and crashed into utility pole, bringing down several wires.

PECO crews were called to the scene to make repairs.

Video from the Action Cam showed several bucket trucks on the scene.

There were no reports of serious injuries.

Blair Mill Road was shut down from Welsh to Witmer roads for nearly 5 hours.

The road was back open by 7 a.m.
