Two children from Nebraska are now talking about how they had to call 911 and turn in their father.

The kids say he was driving drunk.

Ethan and Mackenzie Behrens say they were scared for their lives during the ride last month.

They told police their dad almost hit several cars, including one head-on.

They begged and pleaded with him to pull over, but he refused.

That's when the siblings decided to text 911 for help.

They finally convinced their father to pull into a restaurant to get food.

That's where police caught up with them.

"And he looked back at us and said, you've been texting the cops, and I was like 'yea, I thought I was going to die,' said Ethan.

Fourteen-year-old Mackenzie Behrens said, "And he had something in his cup when the officers checked it."

Jason Behrens is charged with DUI, and driving drunk with minors in the vehicle.
