WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Some students got a first hand lesson in giving back to the environment Wednesday.
Students from Mount Pleasant Elementary School got their hands dirty by taking part in tree plantings, and educational workshops at Rockwood Park in Wilmington.
They also learned all about a favorite childhood pasttime, tree climbing, and how trees are beneficial to our environment.
It's all in advance of Arbor Day, which is a week from Friday.
