PENN'S LANDING (WPVI) -- The city of Philadelphia is expanding its popular bike share program.

Mayor Jim Kenney was on hand at Penn's Landing, as Indego bike share announced its gearing up for its next phase.

27 stations will be installed across the city by the end of this summer.

The program allows riders to rent bicycles, then dock them at stations.

You can now sign up for a membership for 15 dollars a month, for unlimited one-hour rides.
