Frankford high school celebrated the achievements of one of its alumni Thursday morning (WPVI)

Frankford high school celebrated the achievements of one of its alumni Thursday morning.

Philadelphia's deputy police commissioner Christine Coulter was awarded the school's pioneer achievement award during a ceremony.

Coulter, who graduated in 1980, started with the department back in 1988.

She now leads a thousand Philadelphia police officers.
