Sundown marks the start of Passover celebration

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Friday night was the first night of Passover, celebrated by Jews around the world, including here in Philadelphia.

The action cam was at Congregation Rodeph Shalom in the city's Spring Garden section for Friday evening Shabbat service.

The 8 day festival of Passover commemorates the Israelites freedom from slavery in ancient Egypt.
