Toddler injured in South Philadelphia hit-and-run

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 20-month-old boy is hospitalized after a hit-and-run in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Friday along the 1500 block of Ritner Street.

Police say the toddler darted into the street and was struck by a green work van with New Jersey tags.

The child was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he is listed in stable condition.

The van was last seen heading westbound on Ritner Street from 18th Street.

So far, no arrests have been made.
